Our Tauck Tour began this day. First we ate lunch at the Perlan restaurant which is a revolving restaurant with great views of Reykjavik. We met some of our cruise mates and also the cruise directors.

Next we visited the National Museum of Iceland. It is the oldest museum in Iceland: 152 years. You learn the history of Iceland up to the present day. You can see objects from various points in time. We didn't have nearly enough time to see everything.
We then took a bus tour highlighting major sites including: City Pond, City Hall, Prime Minister's house (formerly a prison), Harp (performance center), Paul Allen's yacht, a sculpture entitled Solar Vessel, the house where Reagan and Gorbachev met, and the harbor.
We then boarded our ship Le Boreal for our cruise. The number of passengers the ship holds is 224-264; crew 140. It is a French ship.
